Global Conflicts Through the Eyes of Children
At the initiative of Nino Khurtsilava, a 9th-grade student at Vake Georgian-American High School, the school held a drawing competition titled "Global Conflicts," where students presented their perspectives on modern conflicts through their artwork and presentations.


Chess Fever! GM Nino Batsiashvili Visits GAHSV
The school hosted Grandmaster Nino Batsiashvili, who shared numerous fascinating stories from her chess career with the students. The children were absolutely thrilled to hear about her famous draw against World Champion Magnus Carlsen. As part of the visit, the students also had the incredible opportunity to test their skills in a simultaneous exhibition match against the Grandmaster.


May 26 – Georgia's Independence Day
GAHSV celebrated Georgia’s Independence Day with traditional dress, Georgian music, dance and poetry, joined by writer and public figure Giorgi Kekelidze as the honorary guest.


European Educational Tour
A 31-member delegation from the Georgian-American School (GAS) has completed a European educational visit. The program brought together 9th and 10th-grade students on a journey through Zurich, Brussels, and Amsterdam, led by teachers Megi Talakhadze and Ani Kvernadze, alongside Giorgi Agirbaia, founder of the European Education Association (EEA). GAS-Students Shine at the German Mathematics Olympiad!
Students from the 10th grade at the Georgian-American School (GAS) delivered an outstanding performance at the final round of the German Mathematics Olympiad, held on April 28th in Frankfurt. The competition drew over 2,000 participants from 140 countries across its initial stages. The Frankfurt final brought together more than 300 of the strongest competitors, representing 48 nations — and our students stood among the very best. Georgia returned home with 1 Gold and 2 Bronze
