At the initiative of Nino Khurtsilava, a 9th-grade student at Vake Georgian-American High School, the school held a drawing competition titled "Global Conflicts," where students presented their perspectives on modern conflicts through their artwork and presentations.

The school hosted Grandmaster Nino Batsiashvili, who shared numerous fascinating stories from her chess career with the students. The children were absolutely thrilled to hear about her famous draw against World Champion Magnus Carlsen. As part of the visit, the students also had the incredible opportunity to test their skills in a simultaneous exhibition match against the Grandmaster.

GAHSV celebrated Georgia’s Independence Day with traditional dress, Georgian music, dance and poetry, joined by writer and public figure Giorgi Kekelidze as the honorary guest.

A 31-member delegation from the Georgian-American School (GAS) has completed a European educational visit. Students from the 10th grade at the Georgian-American School (GAS) delivered an outstanding performance at the final round of the German Mathematics Olympiad, held on April 28th in Frankfurt. The competition drew over 2,000 participants from 140 countries across its initial stages.
