English Literature Club
Club Name: English Literature Club
Club Objective:
Since 2024, the Literature Club has been operating at Georgian-American High School of Vake.
The club adopts a comprehensive approach to achieving its objectives, with its primary goal being the promotion of literacy and the development of a lifelong appreciation for reading. Through its activities, students explore outstanding works of world literature in English, fostering an interest in literature, enhancing creativity, and gaining a deeper understanding of the richness and significance of global literary heritage.
Club members engage in thoughtful discussions and literary analysis, examining works, characters, and themes while sharing independently researched insights into the lives and achievements of the authors they study.
The club also organizes literary salon-style meetings with literature enthusiasts within the school community, intellectual and cultural events, collaborative projects, and student presentations.
In addition, the Literature Club is committed to developing students' communication skills, teamwork, sense of responsibility, independent decision-making, and one of the most essential competencies of the 21st century—critical thinking.
The club further aims to strengthen students' self-esteem and self-confidence, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to live, learn, and succeed independently in today's global society.
