March 18th is Global Recycling Day!

How many years does it take for plastic to decompose? What about glass? Or paper?

These were the exact questions that kicked off today's eco-activity. To raise awareness about the issue, members of the Georgian-American School Eco-Club teamed up with our 5th graders.

The kids dove right into the discussion and saw firsthand just how important proper waste management and recycling really are. The 5th graders took on a fun challenge: turning recycled materials into cool, useful projects.
