"Meet Great Figures" - Zacharia Paliashvili

✨ As part of the long-term project "Meet Great Figures," launched by the school librarian T. Chelidze, March was dedicated to the legendary Georgian composer Zacharia Paliashvili. The project was developed in collaboration with music teacher Nino Gorkhelashvili.

📚 The project unfolded in two stages. In the first, our 4th(3) grade students visited the Paliashvili House-Museum, where they explored the composer's life and work in an engaging, age-appropriate format.

🎤 In the second stage, the students took center stage themselves, presenting what they had learned to their peers.

🇬🇪 A special highlight: the melody of the Georgian National Anthem draws on Zacharia Paliashvili's timeless operas, Abesalom and Eteri and Daisi.

🎶 The presentations closed on the day's most moving note, as everyone joined together to sing the national anthem.
