Science + Safety + English = GAS Project!

Our 9th-, 10th-, and 11th-graders at the Georgian-American School just kicked off a long-term, integrated STEM + Safety + English Educational Project!
We've already completed the first four stages:
Firearms and Safety – led by Giorgi Gabekhadze (former instructor at the MIA Police Academy and founder of "Luger")
Physics Lecture & English Texts – thematic physics insights with Archil Baghbaia, paired with English readings curated by Diana Gabisonia
Field Trip: Sokhumi State University & the Institute of Physics and Technology – exploring university labs, diving into scientific research, and watching live chemistry experiments like alkali metal reactions, volcanic eruptions, and chemical rockets
Student Presentations – where our students shared everything they learned with the school community
