GAHSV Elects Its 2026-2027 Student Council

On October 9, the Georgian-American High School of Vake (GAHSV) held its Student Council presidential elections for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Three candidates ran for president. After a campaign that included video messages from each candidate, students in Grades 7-12 voted. The final result combined the student vote with the votes of class student council representatives, the School Director, department heads, and the school administration. The margin was narrow this year.
The new Student Council leadership
President: Nia Dolidze, Grade 12
Vice President: Sandro Kapanadze
Secretary: Anastasia Bakuradze
Thank you to the outgoing presidents
The school thanks last year’s presidents, Erakli Rekhviashvili and Tatuli Zilfimiani, for their work and their contribution to school life. Their team took on its responsibilities seriously and carried out a number of projects and initiatives for the school community.
A new team
We congratulate Nia and her team and wish them success in the year ahead. We look forward to seeing their ideas develop, their initiatives bring students together, and their projects benefit the school community.
At GAHSV, the Student Council is more than a representative body. It gives students room to take initiative, build leadership skills, turn ideas into action, and shape the life of their school.
