Students of the VI(1) and VI(2) grades of the Georgian-American School, under the guidance of teacher Natia Dzamukashvili, conducted the event "Ecology" and "All waste is not thrown away". In their presentations, they talked about big problems in all housing environments and outlined ways to solve them. They also said that the ecological problem can be solved by processing various wastes, which also saves natural resources.

Gold, Silver, and 3 Bronze Medals The Georgian National Student Team traveled to the IWISE (World Innovative Student Expo) international conference in the United Kingdom. From August 14–21, 2023, an international student conference was held at The University of Surrey in England. Established in the 19th century, the university is recognized as one of the top-ranking institutions globally. Representing Georgia, six students from the Georgian-American School (GAS) and Georgian-American High School (GAHS) participated in the conference, presenting five projects across the sections of Mathematics, Physics, Natural Sciences, and Arts. Mathematics Section:  Mamuka (Mika) Meskhishvili Mathematics Section:  Mikheil Kitiashvili and Nikoloz Davitadze Physics Section:  Nikoloz Kokaia Natural Sciences:  Natia Bichelashvili Arts (Architecture):  Nutsa Chubinidze The mathematics section was led by Dr. Mamuka Meskhishvili, a Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics. The IWISE conference welcomed 350 finalist winners from 20 countries. Students from GAS and GAHS presented their projects in English. The conference's informal program included a variety of activities, sightseeing, and excursions. Participants had the opportunity to visit iconic universities such as Oxford and Cambridge. The GAS and GAHS teams were guided by their leaders: Mamuka Meskhishvili, Irma Meskhishvili, and Gvantsa Gakhokidze.

IJSO-2023: Georgian Students Shine on the International Stage This year, at the 20th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO)  held in Bangkok, Thailand, the Georgian national team was proudly represented by the talented 10th-grade students of the Georgian-American School and Georgian-American High School: Ana Chkhortolia Nikoloz Quloshvili Raul Khuchua Nikoloz Abashidze Giorgi Phanjikidze Iakob Safarashvili The team was guided by: Irma Meskhiashvili , Principal of the Georgian-American School, Mamuka Meskhiashvili , Principal of the Georgian-American High School, and Giorgi Vasadze , Physics teacher and team leader. The IJSO is one of the most challenging science Olympiads globally, spanning 10 days and featuring three rigorous rounds: multiple-choice tests, theoretical challenges, and experimental assignments . This year’s opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand. Bravo! A Bronze Medal at the World Olympiad! The students of Georgian-American and Georgian-American high schools passed the 𝑷𝑺𝑨𝑻/𝑵𝑴𝑺𝑸𝑻 exam at the Vake test center of our schools on October 28. This test is a mandatory part of the American program of 𝑮𝑨𝑯𝑺 and 𝑮𝑨𝑺 schools. PSAT score is essential for receiving a grant in foreign universities. That's why American and European students massively take this exam. This year 𝑷𝑺𝑨𝑻/𝑵𝑴𝑺𝑸𝑻 exam was passed by almost one and a half million students of 𝑿𝑰 and 𝑿𝑰𝑰 classes in the world. Detailed analysis of the students' writing showed the ranking of our schools worldwide. On the last day of 2022, I want to share good news with you. Today, the final stage of the future Physicists Festival was held. Georgian-American school students, Archil Beraia, Elene Tokhadze,Elene Brelidze participated in this festival. The winner of the nomination, the most meaningful report, was a tenth grade student, Archil Beraia, who presented the topic of the chaotic motion of a triple mathematical pendulum. The prize bears the name of Mamuka Kachkachishvili, a young Georgian physicist who heroically died in the war in Abkhazia. We wish all students of the Georgian-American School victory and a happy 2023! Thanks to the project manager - Goga Suknidze for his work.
