ECOCLUB

Club Name: Larix Eco Club

Club Objective: The Larix Eco Club aims to plan and implement environmental initiatives, promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), participate in the Niko Ketskhoveli School Award competition, and encourage students' engagement in non-formal education.

Through its activities, the club fosters environmental awareness, sustainability, civic responsibility, and active student participation in projects that contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development at both the school and community levels.

Thanks to an initiative by the Georgian-American School Eco-Club , students recently participated in a valuable first aid training session led by a representative from the Georgian Red Cross Society. Students learned the fundamentals of first aid, proper emergency response procedures, and CPR techniques . Hearts and Hands: GAS Students Support Local Charity

Our Student Council recently organized a charity fair that brought the whole school community together. The funds raised went toward purchasing food supplies for "Tkhilis Guli, " a local organization doing incredible work in our community. Yesterday, Student Council members and our Eco Club visited the organization to drop off the donations and see their operation firsthand.
