GAHSV 8th(2) graders, accompanied by their homeroom teacher and their parents, visited the historic sites of Shio-Mgvime and Tsilkani (Georgia).

What would happen if students arrived at school one morning to find every single teacher gone? This playful — yet thought-provoking — question was the backdrop for a wonderful English-language play performed by our 5th graders at the Georgian-American High School (Vake Campus).

At the initiative of Nino Khurtsilava, a 9th-grade student at Vake Georgian-American High School, the school held a drawing competition titled "Global Conflicts," where students presented their perspectives on modern conflicts through their artwork and presentations.

The school hosted Grandmaster Nino Batsiashvili, who shared numerous fascinating stories from her chess career with the students. The children were absolutely thrilled to hear about her famous draw against World Champion Magnus Carlsen. As part of the visit, the students also had the incredible opportunity to test their skills in a simultaneous exhibition match against the Grandmaster.

Third-grade students from all parallel classes at the Georgian-American School presented the English-language play "On an Island." The play provided another exciting opportunity for the students to put their English skills into practice, gain stage experience, and develop their creative talents.

The Charity and Educational Initiative of the GAHSV (Vake Branch) 9th Graders

GAHSV Grade 1 students celebrated the end of the school year with “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” an English-language performance filled with music, dance, and favorite characters.

GAHSV celebrated Georgia’s Independence Day with traditional dress, Georgian music, dance and poetry, joined by writer and public figure Giorgi Kekelidze as the honorary guest.

Design, language, marketing, digital technology, and engineering came together as GAHSV Grade 4(1) students designed, presented and built their own robots.

As part of the Civics project, on the initiative of 10th(2) grade students, SABAUNI lecturer Tsira Okropiridze visited Georgian-American High School of Vake and spoke with the students about children's rights and the challenges involved in protecting them.

GAHSV Grade I students presented the English-language performance “Disney Park - Children’s Day,” bringing beloved Disney-inspired characters to life on stage.

GAHSV Eco Club students organized a charity campaign to support homeless animals, collected food and visited the Tamaz Elizbarashvili Dog Shelter.

A 31-member delegation from the Georgian-American School (GAS) has completed a European educational visit. The program brought together 9th and 10th-grade students on a journey through Zurich, Brussels, and Amsterdam, led by teachers Megi Talakhadze and Ani Kvernadze, alongside Giorgi Agirbaia, founder of the European Education Association (EEA). Students from the 10th grade at the Georgian-American School (GAS) delivered an outstanding performance at the final round of the German Mathematics Olympiad, held on April 28th in Frankfurt. The competition drew over 2,000 participants from 140 countries across its initial stages.
